Higher Daily Conversion Limit
Guests are capped at 10 conversions per day. A free account raises this to 20 conversions per day, resetting at midnight UTC. For most personal and freelance workloads- Ripping a podcast backlog to MP3, converting a folder of M4A downloads, preparing tracks for a car stereo- this is more than sufficient without any payment. Note that each file in a batch counts as one conversion, so a logged-in user can clear two full 10-file batches in a day.
Larger File Size Allowance
Guest uploads are limited to 10 MB per file. Logged-in free-tier users can upload files up to 50 MB- Enough for high-quality studio recordings, hour-long podcast episodes, or large FLAC exports from audio editors. The limit applies per file, so a batch of ten 40 MB files sails through. If you regularly work above 50 MB- Full lossless albums, long video files- The Premium plans raise the ceiling to 200 MB and 1 GB respectively.
Extended File Retention
Guest-converted files are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Account holders keep their files accessible for 7 days from the time of conversion, giving you more breathing room before a download link expires. Both source and output tracks are covered by the same window, and the clock starts when the conversion completes. Seven days is typically enough to convert on one device and download later on another.
Conversion History Dashboard
Your account dashboard shows a chronological list of every conversion: original filename, source and output format, file size, timestamp, and a re-download link while the file is still within its retention window. This is especially useful when converting batches over several sessions, or when you need to re-grab last Tuesday's output without re-uploading the source. History entries persist after the files themselves expire, so the dashboard doubles as a record of what you converted and when- Handy for invoicing or keeping track of a large library migration. You can clear individual entries or the whole history at any time.
Achievements and Streaks
Accounts track milestones such as total conversions, formats tried, and consecutive-day streaks. These are lightweight engagement features- They do not gate any converter functionality, but streak bonuses can occasionally grant temporary limit boosts announced in the dashboard. Everything above is free forever; only capacity upgrades sit behind the paid plans.
